HOW WE MET
This is the story of how Stephen and Chloe first met. Oh, what a story it is…
Stephen moved into Deakin hall at Monash University on one hot summer day in 2010. Stephen can still remember the first time he saw Chloe - sitting on a couch wearing a Deakin Hall polo shirt with her friends as the token Asian of the group. At first Stephen wasn’t very memorable to Chloe. For a while Chloe even thought he was someone else (Perhaps all white guys look the same to her?!?)
Over the next few weeks they started hanging out, at first only occasionally and then frequently. Stephen ran every play in the book on Chloe. She was oblivious to it all, thinking he just wanted to be friends. Fortunately Stephen’s persistence paid off when Chloe realised what was going on and mustered up the courage to ask him out (Yes, you read it right, she made the move!). After knowing each other for only a few weeks they were officially a couple.
THE PROPOSAL
After three and a half years of dating, Stephen finally figured out what he wanted in life (and it was Chloe). The only problem is he has no idea what girls like. With Chloe’s sister in stride he made his way to the jewellery shop. Once he had gotten past that hurdle, a new challenge became clear. How to hide a diamond ring from a slightly OCD girl intent on tidying and cleaning a small apartment repeatedly? The next month was tense, but every effort to conceal the ring was made. The secret hiding spot behind the books in the bookcase proved its worth (also shows how much Chloe reads). Within the final week, Stephen even took the ring on a business trip to Canberra just to make sure Chloe didn’t find it.
Finally the big day arrives. To keep it short. A fancy restaurant and a romantic dinner somehow leads to a walk along the beach. With a half kneel (not wanting to get sand on his pants) Stephen awkwardly popped the question. After much laughter Chloe says yes.

Wedding Details
Stephen and Chloe are getting married at the Zazen Boutique Resort And Spa. The resort is a bungalow style resort located on the Bo Phut beach front in Koh Samui, Thailand. Guests are asked to arrive at the reception area at 4pm. The dress code will be Beach Formal (lighter colours preferred), so leave the heels at home and have a good time!
